Date: 5/5/12

Location: The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village

Honorees: Schafer Gymnastics, Pennington Presbyterian Nursery School & Pennington-Ewing Athletic Club

This year we were once again honored to be a part of Princeton Child Development Institute‘s Spring Sensations Gala. 2012 marked our fifth year performing at this amazing event, and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of helping to raise funds and awareness for the good people at PCDI and all of their efforts.

The honorees this year were “three community partners (Schafer Gymnastics, Pennington Presbyterian Nursery School and Pennington-Ewing Athletic Club) with whom PCDI has had long-term relationships and who continue to work to make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families”. It was wonderful to hear the stories of how each of these wonderful organizations has helped PCDI students and their families. We salute them all for their continuing efforts.

Princeton Child Development Institute has been “dedicated to teaching children, adolescents and adults with autism the necessary skills to participate fully with their families and in their communities” for over 40 years. To learn more or to donate go to www.pcdi.org.

Save the date! Next year’s Spring Sensations Gala will take place on May 4, 2013. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2013!

Hey Everyone!

We’re playing a rare “open to the public” live show this Wednesday night at The Underground Lounge on West End Ave and 107th St. – Our old stomping ground!!
Come on down after work for a hump day dose of Nite-Time! We start at 7PM. There’s no cover and it should be a fun night. It’s our first time playing at The Underground Lounge, so we could really use your love and support.
Hope to see you all there!

A few weeks after the wedding, Brendan posted this review on our WeddingWire storefront…

…Working with Yves & Amy and the Nite Time Band as our Wedding Reception Entertainment was by far the best investment and ultimate choice that took our wedding to a whole new level! I have no doubt that this amazing band was the reason for comments from our guests such as, “Your wedding was the most entertaining and fun event that I have ever attended,” and “I kept forgetting that you had a live band, it’s like the real artists were playing live for EVERY song,” and “Your band members were the best performers we’ve ever seen live…let alone at a wedding! RIDICULOUS!” I could go on and on, but words would not be enough to describe the satisfaction and thrill of the experience we had with Nite-Time.

From the very start, Yves, the band manager and drummer, was extremely professional and easy to work with. He was very accessible, responding to my numerous emails and calls with my questions and concerns no matter how small. He had a great balance of making suggestions and also allowing for our own special input and ideas. My wife and I had very specific requests, all of which Nite-Time accommodated. From a very specific song list for special events throughout the reception to even a groom’s performance with myself as the lead singer/guitar with the band! What my wife and I loved was how enthusiastic Yves and Amy were about their music as we were about our music choices and how confident they were in their own product. They openly invited us to reach out to former clients for feedback, but what sealed the deal was seeing the band perform live. They graciously pulled some strings to invite us to watch them in action at an exclusive wedding at the Yale Club in mid-town Manhattan. Another time, they even held a separate special event for potential clients at a local venue. By seeing them live, in their performing element will show anyone who knows music how professional, talented, and versatile the band can be. On top of playing amazingly seamless transitions, their repertoire was as vast as a 300 GB ipod. From Taio Cruz to James Brown, or even ZZ Top to the Temptations, the band could do it all and without any drop in performance level. The showmanship of all the band members was truly unbelievable! Amy, the band’s lead singer, carries a song and intrigues the audience with her incredible vocal range. At one point, the lead guitarist put his guitar upside down on his head while shredding out an incredible riff as the crowd went wild! Those are the types of things that make people say, “Your wedding reception was THE BEST!” and you know they really mean it.

From the bottom of our hearts, my wife and I would like to thank Yves and Amy and the wonderful Nite-Time band for making our wedding reception a once in a lifetime event filled with music, laughter and love. One that we will truly treasure and cherish forever!

Thank You LUNGevity!

We just wanted to take a moment to thank Connie Ruta and Diana Fusco of the LUNGevity Foundation for allowing us to be a part of their first ever New York Hope Gala on November 3rd. We had a wonderful time and got the crowd going with some great dance music from the Motown Era to today. Everyone was in high spirits and the foundation raised awareness as well as money to help fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure for lung cancer!

Amy, Diana and Yves at the Gala!

To learn more about LUNGevity or to donate go to: www.lungevity.org

When: November 3, 2011

Where: Jumeirah Essex House,  NYC

Why: To raise money and awareness to help fight lung cancer!

Yves and I and the rest of Nite-Time are excited to announce that we will be participating in the first annual Hope Gala to benefit the LUNGevity foundation. LUNGevity was “founded by seven Chicago area lung cancer survivors in November of 2000 to increase funding for lung cancer research.” Their vision is of “a world where no one dies of lung cancer” and we are thrilled to be able to do our small part to help them get one step closer to realizing that vision.

The gala will take place on November 3rd at the beautiful and iconic Essex House on Central Park South in NYC. There will be a cocktail reception at 6:30pm, followed by dinner and dancing at 7:30pm. Additional entertainment will be provided by Chrissy Bridgeman from Painted Rhythm Dance Company.

This cause is near and dear to our hearts. Both Yves and I have lost loved ones to this devastating disease, which is incredibly hard to detect in it’s early stages and therefore claims more lives in the U.S. per year than any other type of cancer. Lung cancer, contrary to popular belief, can afflict anyone regardless of gender, ethnicity or a history of smoking. For more information on lung cancer, check out LUNGevity’s page about the disease here.

For more information on the Hope Gala, to buy tickets, or to donate, go to www.lungevity.org.

We’ll have pics and a full report on the event in the coming weeks…

When: Friday, July 29th – 6-8pm

Where: The P&G Bar on the upper west side of NYC

Why: Why NOT?

Here it is, another rare opportunity to catch Nite-Time live and in person without having to get hitched or bar mitzed!

Seriously though, we had a great time the last time we played the P&G and you’ve all been asking when you can see us play live and so… we hooked it up. We’ll be doing our usual thing, that is jammin’ out with everyone’s favorite party music from the ’60s to today. Come on down for some after work, pre-weekend happy juice and we’ll provide the tunes and as always at the P&G… no cover!

The Westin at Princeton Forrestal Village, Princeton, NJ

This year we at Nite-Time had the honor of performing for the good people at  The Princeton Child Development Institute, for the fourth year in a row. PCDI is “the first community-based program in the state (of NJ) that was specifically designed to provide intervention for children with autism.” Their mission is noble, they exist to “meet the education and treatment needs of children with autism, and to facilitate professional training and research on autism intervention” and they do an amazing job.

The 2011 Spring Sensations Gala was a wonderful event that raised spirits and funds for PCDI.  The people who work with PCDI give so much of themselves for this amazing cause. They work hard all year to raise money and awareness, so this event is definitely a party with a purpose. After the silent and live auctions were concluded, Nite-Time had the dance floor packed all night. This year’s musical highlights included a trip through the decades starting with hits from the Motown era and culminating in a rousing medley of today’s instant classics that got all ages up and moving.

We’d like to thank everyone at The Princeton Child Development Institute for having us back and for including us in such a wonderful event, we hope to see you again next year!

For more information about PCDI or to contribute go to www.PCDI.org.

Hello Again from Nite-Time!

Many of you have asked where, when or how you can get to see Nite-Time live. Since we mostly perform at private events this can be difficult sometimes. We’ve begun doing some public performances recently and they’ve been a lot of fun, but there are still a lot of people that haven’t been able to make it out. So, by popular demand, I am happy to announce the launch of our very own YouTube channel. “It’s about time!” you may say, and you would be right. We’ll be collecting video to post as often as possible so that you can experience Nite-Time live without leaving your laptop, or iPhone – although we’d love to see you out sometime!

Nite-Time Live at the P&G in NYC!

Yves has been feverishly working on editing and uploading video from some of our recent performances, we’ll be adding more today and all this week, so keep checking back!

Also, if any of you have video from past events that you’d like to share, email Yves or me and we’ll post it on the YouTube channel.

As always, thanks for your love and support. We’ve got some more public shows coming up, we’ll keep you posted. Until then, here’s to another great party season! We’ll be kicking it off this weekend in Princeton!
