Princeton, NJ – May 2, 2009
Tonight was a night for raising funds and raising spirits in the main ball room of the Westin Forrestal Village in Princeton, NJ. The focus of the evening was the Princeton Child Development Institute, which “provides quality treatment, education, and professional training and mentoring” for children and families living with autism. In addition to the extremely successful auction that was held during dinner (over $250,000 was raised for the institute), guests were invited to dance the night away to the music of Nite-Time – New York City’s Premier Party Band! The band started slowly, allowing guests to mingle and peruse the silent auction items that were up for bid. Once the final item was sold, however, the generous gala-goers were treated to an evening of revelry lead by Nite-Time’s Yves Gerard and Amy Serrago. “This year people are really staying to dance!”, said one guest. Nite-Time played selections that got the crowd moving, with a little bit of something for everyone from motown to swing, from classic rock to r&b it was truly a night to remember.
