Yves and Amy getting set to DJ Jillian Michaels’ boot camp work out and cocktail fete for Krave Jerky contest winners in NYC!

This weekend marks the “unofficial” start of summer and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ll be kicking off the summer season on LI this Sunday with our friends from Arizona Iced Tea! We had a great spring, but before we catch you up on that we’ve got news!!

First of all, if you’ve never checked out Yves and Amy as The Goldbergs you really should. For more information and upcoming show dates or to book the duo that’s comprised of the “heart and soul of NYC’s Premier Party Band” go to www.thegoldbergsmusic.com!

As a lot of you know, YG Productions, Ltd. is the parent company of Nite-Time. Our team at YGP has been working behind the scenes for years to not only manage, book and promote Nite-Time, but also The Goldbergs and other live acts. We’ve got the best connections to pros in the business and the discerning ear of seasoned professional musicians working to bring you the finest talent for any event! YGP has also been offering DJ services for the past several seasons and we decided it was time to expand our online presence and let the public know what we’re all about. Check out our brand spanking new site ygpltd.com for more info!

Up next, springtime in review.

Spring Has Sprung!

Happy Spring Everyone,

When we last checked in with you all, we were getting set to rock Valentine’s Day at Seasons at Windham Mountain, and that we did. It was one of the best (if not coldest) ski weekends of the season and the folks at Seasons were up and dancing with us to help warm up after a chilly afternoon on the slopes! Our favorite newly-engaged guitar-god, JT Curtis filled in for Danny and rocked the house while showing his beautiful fiancé the love! Hey JT, we know an awesome band for your wedding 😉

IMG_8943

That was quite a move, and he still nailed the solo!

We kicked off the year on January 16th when we hit the road to play for Natasha and Brian’s Wedding in Washington DC at The Capitol View at 400. We first met Natasha a few years back when we played for her mom’s 50th bash in Maryland. We all had so much fun with these folks, we were super psyched to rock out with them again in our nation’s capital. Natasha is an amazing professional dancer and aerialist and really showed off her skills during the couple’s first dance, You’re The Cream in My Coffee.

It was an awesome way to kick off 2016!

On New Year’s Eve we got a chance to party with our friends at The Wolfert’s Roost Country Club in Albany, NY – wow, we really get around! Amy, kicked off the festivities that night by flexing her solo acoustic guitar and vocal muscles during the cocktail hour before she joined the full band for dancing in the ball room!

Happy New Year!

In March we all took some time off before donning our masks for this year’s annual GCCA Beaux Arts Ball on April 2nd,which honored our friend and colleague Frank Cuthbert for his contributions to supporting local art and artists. Frank is a wonderfully talented composer and performer. We had the privilege of performing a piece from Frank’s musical Coney Island entitled Great Kissers in New York, and later in the evening we surprised Frank and called him up on stage to sing one of our favorites of his songs, Nervous. We have such a great time at this event each year and this year was no exception. We feel honored to contribute to this very worthy cause in our small way and truly respect the people who work tirelessly to make sure that the arts are supported in our community. Thank you to Kay Stamer and David and Jean Slutsky for allowing us to be a part of this event year after year and to Frank for rocking with us!

On April 4th, Yves and the guys provided a jazz trio for the Stanley M. Isaacs Center Gala at The Racquet and Tennis Club on Park Avenue in NYC. Yves delighted the crowd with his cocktail-hour crooning while Bennett tickled the ivories for the guests as they mingled and perused the silent auction items before heading into the main ballroom for dinner and a live auction to benefit the center.

Those are just some of the highlights of this past winter, we’ve been working on some new and exciting things for this coming season while trying to stay warm. Learning new songs, developing new services that we can offer our amazing clients and  bringing you up to date for winter/ early spring fun with Nite-Time.

Next up: Catch Yves and Amy performing at the Windham Bridal Expo on May 15th. We’ll be unveiling our new site ygpltd.com. Finally, you’ll be able to find all of our services in one place, from acoustic acts to full bands to DJs to musical ceremony services (complete with officiant). We are so excited about our expansion and look forward to making all of your entertainment wishes come true!

Yves and Amy and the band are getting bundled up to rock your Valentine ski weekend’s socks off!

If you’re in the area, or feel like having an arctic adventure, come on up to Seasons at Windham Mountain Resort and check out Nite-Time rockin’ out for lovers (requited or otherwise).

We jam from 4pm – 7pm, today: Sunday, February 14th.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Summer Recap Time!!

Well, the holidays are fast approaching and so we figured this would be a good time for a recap of this summer’s parties and happenings. We’ve been so busy this year we’ve barely had time to stay in touch with you all, but if you’ve been following us on Instagram you’re ahead of the game. Here are some of our favorite pics from the grooviest parties of the summer (yes, we’re bringing back groovy – pass it on).

Thanks so much to all of our wonderful clients, those featured here and all the rest, for an amazing season! We can’t believe how fast it went by, but now we’re heading right into Holiday Party season, so stay tuned…

Hey everyone!

I know it’s been a while since we last posted, but we have had a crazy busy couple of months. We rocked some pretty awesome events in May and June in addition to starting the planning process with Nite-Time’s Class of 2016. We figured you all might want to see what we’ve been up to, so here are some photo highlights of our spring season…

We were honored to return (for the eighth year) to perform for the amazing folks at the Princeton Child Development Institute. They do such wonderful work with children and adults living with autism and they do a terrific job organizing this event each year.

This marked the third year in a row that the good people at the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center asked us to perform for their Spring Gala and one of the few times of the year that Amy and Bennett get to perform as a duo before the full band gets rockin’. Always fun!

Of course, no spring would be complete without our Columbia College Reunion Weekend revelers jamming to tunes from every decade on the plaza outside the iconic Low Library in the heart of NYC! We probably say this every year, but this year seemed to bring out more alumni than ever before.

We were invited to perform for Duggal Visual Solutions’ summer yacht party again this year and it was so much fun! This year’s party was on the Hornblower Infinity, a boat with a capacity of 1000 people, so cool.

Amy and Yves got to rock it duo style at the Wolfert’s Roost CC’s Belmont Stakes party on June 6th. We’re not saying the acoustic good vibes we sent out had anything to do with American Pharoah’s historic triple crown win, but you never know 😉

Just three days before the end of spring on June 18th, wedding season kicked in for us again with Bianca and Lyncean’s NYC nuptials. These two ER docs are so busy they had to schedule their wedding for a Thursday night. It’s all good, we’ll rock a party any day of the week. More to come on that one…

Best Reunion Highlight: 30th Anniversary Ghostbuster in Full Costume, Sweet!

I know, I know we say it every year, but really, this year was off the hook at Columbia! We’ve just had the best time playing for the alumni over the years. This year was a celebration of class years ending in four and nine, which made it the 30th anniversary of arguably the best movie ever shot on campus, Ghostbusters (I’m not sure what other movies have been shot on campus though).

We got some great pics sent to us from Scott Rudd, an amazing photographer and musician who was on the scene to capture the event. We just thought we’d share them with all of you…

We also got to hang with as close to a real Ghostbuster as possible. I’m not sure he was sanctioned by the University, and he may have been run off campus shortly after this shot was taken, but we had a great time anyway!

Just had to get a shot with this guy!

Thanks again Columbia! Looking forward to the next time…

We just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who stopped by our booth at the New York Magazine Weddings Event on Thursday. We had a great time meeting new folks and seeing old friends and we’re so happy we got a chance to debut the Nite-Time Fan Cam!

Friends, fans and party guests send us video clips from events all the time and we love getting them. For the New York Magazine event Yves made an awesome montage of some of our favorites and you guys loved it! A few of you couldn’t even keep from dancing (you know who you are).

Here are some fun pics we snapped early in the night before we got to meeting and greeting…
